Just this morning a customer went inside a 22year old store selling products made from aloe vera.
And this how the story went.
Customer: Do you have a coffee here?
Customer Service Rep: Yes we have Sir. (Pointing to the vendo machine)
Customer: Can you get one please.
Customer Service Rep: Oh. I'm sorry but It's actually for sale..
Customer: What? Your company doesn't offer coffee?
Customer Service Rep: Oh. I'm really very sorry for that..but the cold and hot water's on us. You may just get a cup here..
Customer: pahinging limang pi so.
Customer Service Rep: for coffee?
Customer: I keep on buying your products why not give me coffee?!
Customer Service Rep: (Can't take the rudeness and sense of entitlement of the jerk) Sir. (In a very polite manner) Lot's of people buy multi-million pesos worth of products here in our office but never did they demand having a free coffee.
The end.
This scene shows how :
A. We get rude to the front liners.
B. Sometimes we really have that kind of feeling tipong less work but fishing for compliments.
C. Demanding even if you don't deserve it.
D. Feeling obnoxiously handsome /gorgeous when in fact it's the total opposite.
E. Lack of humility. Why enter the room and ask for a free coffee and then suffer from poker face front liners silently shouting "Oh yeah? Coffee huh? Who are you anyway?" .
F. How by being smart and witty you can overcome adversities in life.
